Can a guy develop feelings for the friends with benefits?

Have a friends with benefits for 5 years. He was very clear there is no relationship we are friends ONLY. If we date other people we tell each other. He buys me gifts every holiday. He does home improvement for me. He's always telling me how great the sex is. I have multiple sclerosis and he is ALWAYS looking for ways to help me with relief for my pain. Is it possible he has developed feelings for me and will never show me? I need SO much help!! I can't read the situation at all!!!

Yes it's possible. In your case though? Really can't say. What I would do is first ask yourself if you have any for him after all this time? And if so, then talk to him about it. But even if you don't, it's always good to check in time to time and make sure you're both still on the same page. Especially with an ongoing friends with benefits situation.

Instead of trying to read the situation, just ask him. If you have been friends with benefits for five years you should be able to talk with him. Do you want him to have feelings for you? Sometimes guys do develop feelings for friends with benefits.

It sounds like he may have feelings for you from all of the things he helps you with. Think of it this way: you have a friend that helps you in irreplaceable ways and you have what sounds like a good sex life with this person. Enjoy the time you spend together and if he has feelings for you I believe he will bring it up eventually. In the mean time there is no use worrying about it. It doesn’t sound like he’s going anywhere.
