How would you feel if someone said you were vivacious?

I have been told by women and men that I have a very vivacious personality. When I hear it from women I take it as a complement , but when men say it for some reason I feel its more of a sexual thing and not sure how to respond to it. The definition is full of high spirits and animation; lively or vital, obsolete having or displaying tenacity of life. Should I or any woman that hears it, take it as a complement when a man says it?

It is INTENDED as a compliment.

IMO, you are overanalyzing, which is preventing you from taking the compliment as intended, even if the person mis-chose the word he used to convey that compliment (which I don't think happened here; vivacious is a positve thing).

Thank You, I will so check my self with over-analyzing (which admittedly I do do). Its good to know that the men that use terms like vivacious, truly intended it as a compliment with out an undertone. :)

Yes, it is a compliment and shouldn't relate to sexuality. You're over thinking it when a man says it. Maybe it's because you have a little bit of a kinky mind deep down inside?

yes- you know that song that says..."lady on the streets a freak in the sheet"...thats the way it is for me. Moving on to the reason of the question..I will totally take it as a compliment from here on out. :) TY

thats not a bad thing so why wouldn't you take it as a compliment. Not one part of that definition is negative...

and even if it was meant in a sexual tone it sounds to me like you sound fun so again it sounds like a compliment
