I firmly believe that we all have the right to wear whatever we want subject to local laws to express our individuality. However, men should avoid wearing accessories which are too delicate or can get in the way of doing things. I am by no means the authority on manliness however, it's my belief that men should wear necklaces only for certain purposes.
1. Religious affiliation - certain Hindu sects wear a thin red or black thread around their necks.
2. Dog tags or other ID - I know many army guys and even they dont wear, they carry their IDs in their pockets.
3. utilitarian - security keys, physical keys, or sensitive pendrives.

Would I wear it at the firehouse, probably not, wouldn't want to get people ice on it, or wreck it, but going out and about I could work it into my rotation.

I think pearls are nice, for anyone of any gender. A bit impractical for sports, but hey. If he likes them, go ahead.

I don't care what someone else does but I wouldn't, they just break so easily... hammered a few to dust before
I do have a nice gold and amethyst ringThough it does seem traditionally feminine to wear pearls, I don't see any problem at all for men to wear them. I like rocks, gems, crystals and the like so naturally I would be for that I think.
I accidentally push no but really I could careless what somebody else’s taste in jewelry is. For me pearls aren’t my thing and to be honest I don’t wear any jewelry not even my wedding ring. When I was young I wore some spiky rings only because when I got into a fight I’d bloody them all up pretty good but stopped wearing them at about 18 or 19
Men should stop being afraid of colors, unusual combinations and accessories. Being manly doesn't mean you have to be boring.
Well...
Well, I don't think it looks good, but then neither does more traditional male jewellery like gold medallions and big, expensive wristwatches - it just looks really tacky.
Whatever though - it's up to him.I don't really give a care.. That's my libertarian side talking.
If we're being honest, aren't pearls really just high priced beads?
It looks weird if anyone under pension age wears pearls , whether they're a male female lol

Hey, it looks okay to me. Better than a big gold chain.
No worse than a gold chain.
No sure why anyone would wear crap around their neck in an athletic contest tho...Personally I am okay with my manhood and I will wear whatever I want and not give 2 f**ks what anyone else thinks about it.

Leave it to baseball players, who also still rock gold chains from the 80's... goombas.
Personally I think people shouldn't care what others are wearing whether it be clothing or accessories.
I don't care what people wear.
He can wear a boot on his head and have the rest be a batman costume with fluffy slippers for all I care.Shout out to this guy for wearing what he wants to wear! Pearls are a birthstone like any other. 👍🏾
That’s more like for the olden days back in the 1600’s. And only woman wear them to be fancy. Men? Now I find that a little odd.
I'll never understand the point of fancy jewelry on anyone.
