Do players usually invite you to things with their friends, typically they avoid having you meet their people right?

I’m trying to see if this guy likes me or is just using me for sex.
of course all guys want sex , but would he be considered a player if he introduces me and invites me to meet up with his friends and their significant others , make time to hangout , ask questions about myself etc if he was a player?

he definitely is attracted to me physically, but guys are guys so should I not think too hard into it and enjoy being with him and getting to know him? Or do you think he is a player and just using me?

We are in the talking stage right now we haven’t been talking long, it’s been a month . I’m just curious bc I don’t want to take it further if he is just messing around. He texts me all the time and wants to know things about me, invites me places etc , but you can tell he wants to sleep with me right away. But that’s not a bad sign is it?
Also, I know he got out of a relationship not too long ago so I’m sure he is still healing from that.
But guys can want to move on and talk to someone knew and give someone else a chance even though they may still be healing right?
One night he mentioned , “ I know this isn’t something you want to hear but I’m not 100% over my last relationship with me ex.” I’m not sure is he was just being honest and letting me know he wants to take things slow or what?
He seems to want to continue hanging out and he takes me out and everything.
Is it possible he is trying to move on and just wants to take things slow?
As soon as we are apart he’s constantly texting me throughout the day. Making me a part of his day.

I think that he is a player. He may be saying that he wants to go slow; but what he is doing is moving quickly.

But here’s where I am confused though , my birthday was last week and I actually didn’t think he’d want to come so I didn’t ask him. And you could tell he was a little confused /upset that I didn’t ask him to go.
But my friends were all there obviously and I feel like as a player you’re not going to want to go to a girls bday party with all her friends there right? Is it possible he is into me?

Actually going to your birthday party is a go to move for players. Birthday sex is a quick way into someone's pants.

Yeah but I don’t think it was about the sex I think he was just upset bc I didn’t include him. He didn’t live that close either. So it’s not like it was a convenient drive for him. He had to work really early the next day. Also, he never pressured me into anything. He was willing to wait.

I think that you are trying to ignore the obvious warning signs in order to not be alone. Or to feel validated. However, any good feelings you have because of him now will only crush you if I am right about him being a player.
