If a guy's friends say he likes me but he doesn't seem to, how likely is that he actually likes me?

My crush's friends (which are kinda? my friends too but not as much) keep teasing me and saying he likes me, sometimes they exaggerate a lot. Said crush doesn't demonstrate it though, we're friendly to eachother but it's mostly me who insists in at least talking to him in a daily basis (which people don't find weird at all, since I'm known for being friendly). I also never told anybody I like him so there's no way for them to know. What do you think?

Based on my experience, there are two things about that. It's either he likes you, but doesn't want to be in a relationship with you and in the end you'll get hurt because you hoped that you two have a chance. In short he's playing with you. The other is, he likes you. And because he is a boy, he wouldn't show you how much he has a crush on you because he is not yet sure or isn't ready for a relationship. Watch out for my first example. Protect your heart. Don't let it get broken. Or if you like him, maybe you should wait for the right moment then ask him about this issue.
