Is it normal that I think of women as being men's pets?

I really do have this sense. Just in daily interaction or in relationships... When I see the sexes interact, i at times get the sense that we women are men's pets. Just think of how we are with dogs and cats we own.

I think men see us that way and it can be good or bad positive or negative. Just how people can abuse their pets or love and take care of them. But its never an 'equal'being in terms of intelligence, power, etc.

The owner always has the upper hand.

I am a submissive docile gal in general so that may have to do with my take but i even notice this dynamic between bad/dominant girls and men. Thats why i think its a man and woman dynamic. Not about personalities. But about biological sex.

Still i do also think it could vary pets is just an term to define that you are petting an animal that is taking care of it.

Now pets are solely dependent on you but women are not.

While pets have to stay with you women can make there own choice and judgements they can leave anytime they want

That’s how my relationship is. But my partner prefers it that way. She wants zero say in relationship choices, regardless of the subject. From food to entertainment to sex. She has her favorite things she wants to do, but I literally have to force her to choose what she likes. It’s actually annoying but I’ve accepted that’s what she wants. I wish sometimes she would make choices. Sometimes when she gets angry or we argue, she will say what she wants. That’s about it.

Its actually simple: if a husband is doing his job of loving, providing, protecting, and being a selfless sacrificing gentleman... Any woman would feel blessed to be his pet.

But then many men are simply not ready to be good and masculine men these days.
