Why do I get the most attention from men when I look like crap? Why did I get so much attention when I looked my worst?

Any time I dress well, wear my hair down and fix it and wear just a small amount of makeup I get completely ignored by guys, but if I'm in crappy baggy stained work clothes that don't flatter me and look like shit, no makeup, hair in a messy ass ponytail with a million flyaways, that's when I always get hit on. WTF? Why is this?

I was also overweight in high school (not obese by any means but definitely chunky) and dressed terrible almost like a guy (baggy jeans and baggy T-shirts), no makeup either, and just average looking hair. In my opinion I looked unattractive but for some reason I got attention from guys (even ones that had their pick of much better looking girls). Why is this? My high school boyfriends thought I was cutest when I thought I looked my worst and one of them didn't like it when I lost weight (still did anyway though because I wasn't happy with it). Why so backwards?

I remember this one time I went to the Apple store and saw a woman who walked into the store wearing no makeup, messy hair, sweatpants, a ratty old hoodie with a stretched out belly shirt. This woman was so unkempt that I saw tufts of pubic hair sticking out of her sweatpants. All that said; she's one of the sexiest women I've ever seen in my home town.

My appearance has never been plastic or fake even once. I hardly ever wear makeup but it is a very small amount when I do. Maybe I should have also mentioned my idea of dressing well is wearing something that actually fits me, isn't stained and doesn't have my job's logo on it. Nice pair of jeans and a nice shirt. Not clubbing outfits. I don't even own anything like that.

As far as looks, a ponytail or having your hair up is as hot as it gets. Otherwise, provided your in good shape, the dresses are the best! When i go to the club or bar, i wanna find those really done-up girls who are dressed so awesomely. But not much make-up please, if you look fake, im out.

I only wear ponytails for work but they look like shit bc I do them loose or else they hurt and I have curlyish hair and flyaways are unavoidable. I'd be just as perplexed if guys found my work hair hot as I am about getting more attention at a higher weight.

I've never worn a lot of makeup. It's very little when I do and I don't wear it often.

My question is still why do I get more attention when I look like shit and especially when I was heavier?

Well, i know that for me 80% of a girls looks come down to weight. I want nothing to do with fat girls. The rest of it is just if she is shorter then me (if she is not then she is a complete no), and if her face is acceptably pretty (majority of girls are). If she meets those 3 things then she is acceptable to hit on and date and whatever else.

I dont think we care much about little details like looking messy at work. It also depends though, like if we are at home, the messy everyday-girl things is hotter. But if its like Saturday night club time, then i want her to dress fancy.

When it comes to lovemaking sex, then the messy comfortable look it best. But for the hottest saturday-night kind of sex, its best if she is all done-up.
