Why do guys always say that I'm not what they expected then back off?

I'm 24f, I'm aware that I have a baby face and look sweet and innocent.

When guys talk to me they're surprised how well spoken I am and quite shocked when I tell them I've studied international finance and have an interest in economics. I have a good job and have a good career ahead of me aswell.

I've been told I can be emasculating and that I'm outspoken (my boss said that, but he said it's not in a bad way as I know what I'm talking about).

Why do guys shy away? Do they all want a pretty airhead?

Because guys like femininity and a career woman who is "the boss" is masculine energy which repels men. Men are looking for their opposite, otherwise they'd just date other men.
