Why does he (my crush) look at me when I'm embarrassed, meaning why does he just keep staring at me when I'm embarrassed?

I made a mistake by leaving an ongoing class one day, and after I returned, I felt humiliated. I looked up after going in the class, a few people looked at me but just continued on with their work, but I felt a presence of someone looking at me. I looked up a little and saw him looking at me a little. Why? And I don't know if I'm wrong or my imagination, but I did also have a vibe he was smiling or laughing a little without sound (although he doesn't seem like the type because he asked to be friends and talks to me sometimes). But I couldn't really tell. He was wearing a mask. But why? Why was he looking at me after?

Maybe because it's fun. This one woman I work with I was antagonizing the other day because I knew she didn't like being looked at while eating. So I walked over to one of my guy co- workers. And I said do me a favor turn and look at her with me. And she noticed. And said "what! Why are you looking at me"? Then I said to my co- worker. " I know I'm not saying anything but I'm going to turn and smile and you start laughing like I said something funny". So he did. And she got all self conscious putting her hand up palm facing me like that made her invisible or something. And started whining "don't look at me".

Well, maybe on the off chacne he likes you and the constant stare could be admiration, or with mask protocol it could be a silent, "all ok?"

Wait so that means he liked seeing me embarrassed or something? Or just liked seeing me walk out of an ongoing class by mistake then turn back a few minutes later? I don't really get it... why would he like it though :0 ?
