Because they're one of the people who have a pure platonic relationship with their friends. They are not attracted to their friends regardless of how their friends look, so they would never even think about them in a sexual way. I am one of them.
I think there are just a lot of sexist folks on this platform. 😒 Plus a bunch of dudes who just think with their dicks. Like, it's not hard to be friends with someone from the opposite sex without trying to get in their pants.
I have male and female friends. My friends all have their own male and female friends. I can't read minds but I know for myself, it's platonic. So I know, it's possible. Because I am not unique in this ability among the whole of humanity.
women r the ones that will perpetuate the lie about just being friends cuz they use guy “friends” for attention and validation. women aren’t as straightforward telling a guy they’re not interested in him cuz why would they give up free attention if they can string a guy along?

Because they can. I have female friends to whom I have absolutely no intimate thoughts whatsoever. Some are lesbians, others are straight. Frankly I have more intimate thoughts for my sister than for any other woman. ☺️

i guess it would only be possible if both persons were either seeing someone else or they were gay and lesbian.
i guess it could come down to seeing the other person as just a person and not as a gender as well.
I have plenty of female friends where there is no sexual attraction whatsoever. We share similar interests and bond over them. We don't want anything more.
ok so my question is do best friends sleep in the same bed... like c'mon. I've had females friends (all attractive) I never pushed sex upon them, but proximity and human nature make temptation are hard thing to dodge.

I think being satisfied in your relationship effects how ‘on the hunt’ for sex a person is. If you get everything you need from your partner, a quick snack outside the relationship just isn’t worth it. The lost trust the heartbreak the anger the effects on the children the legal and financial consequences are just not worth it. I find it easy to work with and maintain friendships with women (which would make working in a heavily female dominated industry difficult otherwise) that don’t stray into dangerous territory. I don’t pretend to be attracted to every woman around, I’m also very happy where I am. Have you ever gone to an art museum and seen something beautiful without the burning desire to take it home? Control yourself and make integrity based choices; you are allowed to appreciate beauty without immediately turning into a slobbering animal.

1 ) you wouldn’t have if the offer presented itself to you
2 ) have never thought about them in a sexual/intimate manner
So? What makes you think THEY can't have a guy friend and not think anything sexual about him?
