Why does he keep coming back?

So it's been about 2 months since we last talked because he blocked me, and in those 2 months I saw him dating someone else and he actually got her pregnant, but yet he just commented on my profile pic "ILY " like why does he constantly play with my emotions! If he doesn't see a future with me then what's the point?

I feel so confused, hurt, & betrayed. My friends say I should block him & I know I should too. But why does he drag me along it's so unfair and cruel
