Recently we went out for first date last week. He hasn’t yet initiated a conversation after our first date. Why?

He was very nervous and awkward during our first date.
After the date I sent him next morning ”thanks for the yesterday’s coffee ” and he replied ” thanks to you too :)”

We went out on Thursday. I sent that text on Friday morning. He did reply to my text but still I hoped he would’ve continued our conversation or something. Now it’s Wednesday ….
maybe he though that I’m blowing him off or something…

Sounds more like the reverse; that he is blowing you off. But you can send him another message initiating conversation if you really want to and think he is just really really awkward.

I don't know why he was so nervous during the date if he didn’t like me. His leg was shaking, he was stumbling on his words, laughing nervously

Maybe he was uncomfortable because he didn't like you but had to sit the date out. However, don't make judgements based on appearance, one way or another. If you want to have another date with him, just ask him out. If he says yes: he is interested. If he says no/ignores your question: he is not.

I noticed one thing.
He was waiting me outside the restaurant.
I walked towards him and said hi to him and he said hi back. Then he turned to walk towards the entrance of the restaurant ( I was walking behind him) but seconds after doing that he looked over his shoulder with slight smile.
Wasn’t he checking me out?
