there is a guy I met online where we agreed to be friends. We have been talking for a little while but haven't met up yet due to our busy schedules. The odd thing about him is he texts me "good morning!" every single day. He texts me the moment he gets off of work up until the time he goes to sleep. I have already told him to stop texting me every day. I'm so tired of it. He disappeared for two days then he began texting me daily AGAIN! So I had a very serious discussion with him about what his intentions are. I asked if he was interested in a relationship. He said no he wasn't. He has a handful of friends to text, but he only targets texting me daily. According to our conversations, it seems he finds women of my race to be attractive. Every single time he texts me and then I respond back to him, he says "good, don't be a stranger". As if he's afraid to lose me.

I got so uncomfortable that I just stopped texting him all together.
Over the past 9 days since I have stopped all communications with him, he continued texting me daily every single morning.

At this point, I am creeped out and scared. I'm getting the feeling that he may be obsessed with me.

so, on the other end of the spectrum, when a guy is attentive to you, and you actually like it, it's because you've gotten to know each other and made some memories by now, and you feel confident he's reaching out and thinking of you because he likes you for you and enjoys your company.

on this end, you two have not met, and despite if you had, let's say in a public setting, like school or work, and you guys were in your own lanes and didn't properly introduce yourselves, and somehow connect online. you guys text and although you know them in real life, if his texts sound odd or disturbing, you're not gonna be as creeped out cause you've been around him at least, and know he's not that weird in person, he probably just doesn't know how to get his point across, so you give it time to simmer. but eventually, if the conversation is not going anywhere, he bores you, he repeats himself, he doesn't need your Bait, he is hooked on you just because you exist and you're breathing and that alone, works on him as if he was a fan and you're a celebrity, you can do no wrong. then, because you are not some public figure or did something amazing for him to worship you, it's creepy and the talking will eventually cease, by him getting blocked or you telling him directly to fuck off.

and sadly, this is where guys go wrong. they are indeed, desperate, and have lost self respect, because keeping to himself and being awkward hasn't charmed anyone before, now he thinks being in your face and super involved in the opportunity to be in communication with you, as if his life depends on it, must be the way to get someone. but that's the problem, he doesn't actually want you, he just wants anybody. thats why it turns girls off. girls are very particular when it comes to crushing, they know exactly why they're bothering with this guy they like, and could answer why she likes him, whether it's logical or not, in seconds if you ask her. guys just need the validation for their dying manhood that they're worthy of a woman's attention. you aren't even responding, it couldn't be more clear, and now he's out of touch, refusing to understand he needs to stop, cause if he stops trying, it's guaranteed now nothing will happen. maybe he'll be worthy of your block at least, the self esteem is that low, either that, or he put you on a pedestal before getting to know you and deciding if he likes you so far, just the fact you showed him any communication was enough for him to like you. or the version of you that had patience and showed sympathy. if this were him writing this question, I'd say you have to explain why you are the way you are, or she's brushing you off as a weirdo. if you don't know yourself why you're acting this way, you should take time to yourself to find out, cause no other human can tell you why you feel this way, your feelings are your own. he could've taken the L, but he chose to keep going, and he must understand why he felt like he needed to do so, or he will continue to do it to others, and be left feeling confused and isolated. so yes, not your fault, I did it a few days ago, explained to the guy I don't like what he's doing, he did it harder, he ignored my requests, I thought to myself what a psycho and told him to fuck off and blocked him. we never met also, do i feel bad? yeah, but whatever it's not my fault he doesn't respect himself so he won't respect me.

I only haven't done so just so that if he does anything bad to me or track me down. I can have some sort of physical evidence that he's harassing me. I need to be aware if he's making any death threats so I can know when to report to the police. Some people can't take rejection

That's the most ridiculous logic I've ever heard for not blocking someone. Death threats? Quite a leap there, don't ya think? Evidence he is harassing you... is he harassing you now? Have you explicitly told him to stop? Telling him to not text you everyday is not going to do it. If you tell him IN WRITING to knock the shit off then he is clear about how you feel, and there is documentation. Then you block him if he continues. He can't issue death threats or harass you if he is blocked, correct?

Excuse me brain cells? You said "I have already told him to stop texting everyday"... so you think that is clearly telling him to stop? Like I said, you need to lay it out more clearly than that soft shit. It creates documentation and a paper trail, which you obviously don't understand.
No one is issuing you any death threats, give me a break with that dramatic bullshit. So you are leaving him unblocked in case he does issue you a death threat? And you say I'm stupid... sure thing honey 👌
