Why can't my friend move on from this guy?

My friend thinks this guy is into her just because he talks to her. Its been 4 years and she is just wasting her time. He has said a number of times he sees her like a sister and called her a good friend. Why can she not move on

The comfort level between them is strong and likely mimics that between couples who have been together the same amount of time (minus the sexual side). She is just too wrapped up in his energy to detach and consider anyone else.

Well, you’re a good friend to be concerned about her, but ultimately, it’s her life, and until she comes around on her own, all the advice you give her will likely go in one ear and out the other.
