Got my neighbors number but don't know if it's weird to ask him out?

Hi!
I asked a question before if I should give my number to my very cute neighbor but.. I actually got his number but in a whole different way! Now I don't know what to do... I'm 24 and he's 33...

I was alone at the summerhouse for about a week and embarrassingly our toilet stopped flushing. I tried everything but couldn't get it to work so I went over to his house to ask for help. He was sitting outside eating breakfast with his parents who are visiting. He immediately stood up and said hi and asked if something was wrong. I told him about my problem and we walked together towards my summerhouse. As I apologized for disturbing their breakfast he went to put his hand on my shoulder and say something like it's no problem but he kinda just stopped and poked me instead, he looked quite shy/unsure of himself..

Anyways we talked a bit and I told him this is so typical me to happen when I'm alone here. When we got in to the house it turns out my attempts at fixing the toilet had worked so all he did was flush the toilet and it was solved.. But he didn't want to leave it felt like, he wanted to check out our drain well. So we went out and he told me something about how he had read about this at university. There was nothing to see at the drain well so he gave me an explanation of what he thought had happened, and after a while he said I could put my number in his phone if I had more problems.. When he went to go back to his place he asked for how long I would be here at the summerhouse and when I said "until the weekend maybe" he just said something like "ahh well then I might see you then.." and I just smiled and said yes we'll do.. This week he's had visitors everyday or not been home until late. I wanted to bump into him again to ask him to go for a walk with me or something but I haven't gotten the chance. Is it weird for me to now, a week later, text him and ask him if he wants to join me for a walk in the evening someday?
