We used to flirt but now is like he doesn't care?

I don't know what the hell is happening with my crush of 4 years. I thought things were doing great and we used to flirt but I noticed I was the one who initiated it most of the time. I decided to refrain from messaging and approaching him as often as I did before and I've noticed that because of that most of our daily interactions were gone. It's like he doesn't even remember I exist. Yesterday I messaged him so we could play an online game and he didn't want to go on call and stopped after a few rounds while I was expecting we could talk a bit and have some fun he just shut me down.

Goodness, even his friends are way more friendly towards me than he is. A lot of people say he had a crush on me too but I don't see it at all. I'm demotivated to ask him out since I seen to be the only one putting efforts into this. Does anyone know what's up with him?

I don't believe in such thing as "too long", if you really love this person you don't get tired of them overnight for no reason... Specially since he never made a move. I guess he simply never liked me for real.

That was pretty sexist and also pretty wrong. I don't see why it's not logical to assume that he simply didn't like me. Besides, I've waited 4 years for him, if a couple of months is "too long" for him then there's no reason to believe he ever cared about me the same way I did for him.
