So, I’ve a friend since 12th grade. We haven’t really been close but recently things have changed a little bit. I didn’t like him all through 12th and 13th as I thought one of my ex female friend liked him, never even looked at him as more than just a friend, always kept a distance from him as my friend at that time didn’t like me being near him. Fast forward to this year, a few months ago, we were at a party with a couple of friends. I was very high and he was a little drunk and we danced, hugged, cuddled a little bit at the end. After that day, I just looked at him differently. Also after he shared that his cat died to me and he was very vulnerable around me. Which is very rare as I’ve never seen him being express that much sorrow around anybody. And the time I went to a concert alone and got harassed, he was all why did you go alone? You should have called I would had gone with you in the politest tone ever. All this eventually led me to feel something towards him. I eventually after some time told him “I like you”. He told me he dw how he feel and he said I like you but ig just as a friend. I replied with, “it’s ok and thank you for being honest.” He proceded to ask me why I never told him this before and why did I never gave him a hint or any idea that I like him through these years. Then, I told him I only started to like him recently. He asked me several questions afterwards too but I dogged them all as I simply didn’t wanna ans.
However, recently we have been pretty close we know a little more about each other. He talk almost every other day, whole day on msgs. If we don’t talk for 2 days he’ll send a meme to get a reply (none of this used to happen before). He teases me a lot, annoys me, says he misses me, loves me, he has a cat and he knws I love it so he’ll send me pics and videos of it, said he’s sexually attracted to me in a joke, tells me I’m pretty, cute, etc., tells me there’s no other girl he likes etc etc. so, know I don't know.
