My ex and I broke up mutually almost a year ago, and I really miss him. I proposed trying to be friends, sent him photos of the cats we had together and some links to video games series be both enjoyed try to bridge the gap. However he said he "needs more time away from be before we can be friends again" however I asked him a while ago if he still had feelings for me and he said no. I'm very confused. I know he hasn't been seeing anyone... We were together for 6 years, owned a house for 5 together and were engaged for 2 years...

I decided I'm going to respect that and leave him alone, let him decide...

I'm just wondering from a guys perspective what he might be feeling?
