Ever had anything trigger bad memories from the past?

when i was in high school years ago i was walking from the school > downtown at lunch by myself one day , for some reason these 2 guys from my school. not entirely sure if i knew them at the time but were around the same age as me. spit on the back of my coat several times for no apparent reason. it was such an awful thing to do to someone and for literally no reason i hadn't done anything to them or even know them.

even to this day if anyone is behind me spitting i recall that moment in time , something so horrible it should of been entirely forgotten about years ago

i didn't even report it to the school , i must of tried to clean it off at a restaurant downtown by myself. they should of got into a lot of trouble , there might of even been grounds for criminal charges although they would of been young offenders at the time.

it doesn't trigger anything but i had similar thing happen, one kid (boy) bothering me when i was going home after school, when i was a kid as well

the incident that happened to me was very disturbing and to this day not sure why it was allowed to happen or even why they targeted me or why they didn't even get in trouble for it , surely other people saw this occur , its the main street , other people walking and cars going by and it was at lunch

its actually normal as people wouldn't want to get involved. it was shocking to you as it was learning experience for you that people may teach you right and wrong but might not help you in trouble

I have not but your incident sounds nasty someone's fluids on your clothes. People are grossly unfair. It is too bad that you did not report as this is clear case of bullying.

they never bullied me at high school prior to or after that incident , it really was a one time thing i'm pretty sure. i don't recall ever having run ins with them before or after that occured. i do regret not reporting it though as they would of likely got into serious trouble
