Met a guy during traveling and we talked a lot and got along really well. He has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend were both aware of. He gave me his number before we went our separate ways. The convos we had were really fun and he seems like a really cool guy that I’d like to be friends with. Should I text him or is that going to cause issues with my boyfriend since it’s a guy?
If he's only a friend and he sees that with you, why not? I am a single, heterosexual male, and most of my female friends are either married or have boyfriends. We text each other, meet for lunch/dinner, etc... I have no interest in pursuing anything more, their partners know their missus is seeing me and they seem to be ok.
You ARE allowed to have male friends, the same way your boyfriend IS allowed to have female friends. Trust is key here.
You most definitely should not have any kind of contact like that with him. You both already have lovers, and by him offering you his number it sounds like he wants to disrespect his girlfriend and see if something can happen with you.
If you really love and respect your boyfriend, you shouldn't want to get involved in any tempting situation like this.
