Would you go out with someone who has been divorced properly for 6 months?

I've been at my job for 6 months.

I met this nice man that I work with.

Our company has a lot of staff only gatherings & we always catch up there or he comes by to my desk every morning and we talk for a while.

We just had work drinks & he asked me tonight if I want to go & have dinner with him tomorrow.

The thing is, he's divorced with two little kids.

The divorce is final & he is a really sweet person. A lot of people like him.

Is 6 months after a divorce too soon?

My initial reaction was no, it would be too soon. But I don't actually think so.

If he's over the divorce or rather is ready to move forward and things are settled emotionally as far the divorce is concerned, I would be fine with going out with that man.
