Feeling crushed and confused again?

If you look at my previous question then this question may be easier to answer. So I sent this dude a friend request through Facebook last night and I have been left on pending since. It will have been 24 hours soon. I noticed the morning after I sent the request, he posted a story. Funny because I have been going to his profile for about a month and I NEVER saw him post a story, and then suddenly he does after I send a request? The story was about a tv show called Family Guy. Is that a coincidence or was he letting me know he is ignoring my request? Also I noticed later on during the day that his friend count went up by one, but I’m still left on pending. He has over 2000 friends on there and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t not even know all of them or talk to them, so why can’t he just answer the request?

I’m just so broken and confused. I wasn’t even attracted to him at first, but he kept hitting on me pretty much every time he saw me and I started to like him. He also left the company recently from what I heard, and I didn’t see him at work for a while.

why is he doing this? What was the point in all those comments at me if he’s not going to do anything? Is this some kind of mind game so I message him or what? I’m so upset that I’ve been feeling sick all day and I don’t even want to go to work again tomorrow…

Pretty crappy that he gives me all those compliments, gives me suggestive looks then it turns out he has a girlfriend he is tagging in his stories

There are only 2 possible explanations. 1) He just hasn't seen the friend request notification, especially as he has over 2000 friends and probably gets tons of notifications. Or 2) he is playing mind games as he wants your attention.

My question to you is; Why is being a friend on Facebook so important to you? Isn't being a friend outside Facebook more better? I love Facebook, but sometimes I struggle to keep up with posts, and I only have 215 friends. Having 2000+ friends means he will very likely miss what you post and you'll spend most of your time dwelling on why he hasn't liked your post or picture.

He posted another story tagging his girlfriend and friend so I think he is trying to tell me something because he never posted stories for weeks until I requested him, and I am still left on pending. I’m not going to react by cancelling it or messaging him though.

I started to like him at work so I wanted to add him on Facebook because that’s how people can stay in touch

Did you say his girlfriend? So he actually has a girlfriend?

Yes. But that was unknown when he was giving me those suggestive comments and looks at work. Then he “all of a sudden” posts stories right after I sent a request, when he has not done that in the weeks that I have been looking at his profile. He tagged some girl and his friend in a meme in one of his stories, the girl is his girlfriend.

That kinda changes the perspective of things here now. If he has a girlfriend, you need to forget about this guy on a romantic level and just see him as a friend. Maybe that's why he isn't quick to accept your friendship as he feels it will complicate things between him and his girlfriend.

I don't believe in coincidences, I don't know if you believe in God but to me it sounds like God didn't want you to keep wasting your time and that seems like enough evidence that he isn't going to add you

It's possible he went on Facebook but didn't look at his notifications. I'm guilty of that many times.

Thank you. He posted a story about a meme tagging her and his friend. But I decided to break the ice and sent him a message letting him know we used to work together because Idgaf anymore and even if he doesn’t reply or I receive a negative response, it can’t be worse than what I am feeling now

He keeps gaining friends, count went up by one again but my request is still pending. I wonder if he even actually left the company and that’s why he hasn’t accepted it? I still see him under management under the workday app…
