Why do men think they are entitled to have a say in their child's life after divorce & you have partial or less custody rights?

The average divorce is due to husband cheating, husband abusive tendencies, etc. Yes there are women who lie & cheat but on average reality is divorce is due to cheating, abuse or criminal or unsavory behaviors such as drug abuse or alcoholism.

So given that why should men have any say in their child's life? You failed as an adult so why influence your child to be a similar failure?

Because everybody can change and there are way more reasons than cheating to end a marriage. To me the answer part of the answer would be because it's his child, too. Yes she has the pregnancy but without a man a woman can't get pregnant. Just because they failed at some point doesn't mean they can't change. Everybody person makes mistakes at some point in their life and learns from them moment.
Just because you don't trust guys to be able to since you probably have just met guys that weren't. It's not fair to say that no guys could.
But besides that a guy probably has to pay money so letting him pay and pay while not being able to see for what he's paying won't make help him change either. Because his money will always be good enough no matter how much she hates him. A woman will always make him pay even if she doesn't need the money or makes more than him.
That's the point where people take all this gender war stuff from because not allowing him to see won't help him in the long run but instead make him bitter and turn against society.
So he'll tell the next generations of guys to not get married or have children at all cost.
I don't see how it's helpful to the child or to him to heal from the divorce especially if the child is perfectly aware of the situation.

At least in my life experience and my social drug abuse or alcoholism are rarely reasons for a divorce but instead the love between the parents have faded or it's the work that gives the reasons because he or she works more than the other partner wants them to. In those cases there often isn't a clear black and white scenario where one partner is the innocent good and one is evil.
So my reality is different than yours in that.
I think it's different in cases of domestic violence or drug abuse because in those cases the person that was abusive also has to show clear signs of change and remorse to be able to show that they are clean and working on themselves. Otherwise I wouldn't trust them either to be helpful.

I totally get that but you probably misunderstood the point I tried to make because I would doubt that drugs and alcohol is the main reasons why women want a divorce. But instead there are way more reasons and some of them could be that she doesn't love him anymore.
In your scenarios there is just black the evil man and the white arch angel of a woman but I don't think it's that easy.

First off I know of a lot kf women who cheat also.

2nd women can also become toxic to kids, telling them false things about their dads, because they dad left their mom. There are alpt of mean exwives out there.

3rd it is also their child and still have perinatal rights to the kids up bring. They still need a father figure in their lives. And if he is paying for child support he has every right to see and raise those kids.

As you can all see, it's always the man's fault. I mean it's not like 70-80% of break ups are initiated by women since they line up their pockets thanks to the divorce courts. The man who works his ass off on a daily basis to work like a slave for the whore he once called wife is a failed adult. The woman sitting on her ass all day long demanding more right and playing the victim on her social media is the successful adult.
