Why is he not doing anything?

I have this crush, and I am 100 percent sure he likes me to. ( he looks at me intensly, he has a different body language whenever I am around, he gets a little shy around me even though he is a really open person, hs friends make it really obvious to.) He gives me such obvious signs and treats really nicely. I want to to talk to him but I never get the chance we are always surrounded by friends. What do I do and how do I initiate the conversation?

Based on what you're writing, it sounds like he likes you. As for why he's not doing anything, guys your age are shy. And scared $#*%less about rejection. And less mature than girls. So, yes, go for it. How? Despite your friends being around, just talk to him. Comment on something new he has. Or something funny he said. In other words, anything not cringe to start the conversation. Then build from there. And ask him to go for coffee or McDonald's and then just keep talking.

I'm sure you are right for you sense it. Guys at these ages are very insecure, not confident. Self esteem may not be there. Even if you initiate, he may shoot you down out of fear and shame, but might as well try.

Just talk to him like he's a normal person and be nice and fun end easy going. Love is an amazing thing!
