Why do some guys not show emotion?

This guy I’m talking to is hella cold like in person he’s touchy flirty very nice we joke around a lot but when I’m not around him he barely talks to me or text me like I was leaving for a surgery a week ago and he hasn’t texted me since he said it was gonna cost a lot I told him get WhatsApp and he said laughing he’s bad with technology which is bs my 4yr old brother can use technology even and today when my friend asked him to call me he said “why” like tf is that should I give him a chance when I get back or cut him off cuz this is such annoying attitude just cuz ur a guy don’t mean u don’t have feelings or emotions wth I don’t even know how to act or what to say when I see him at work when I get back to USA like how do I act why did he make it so awkward I need to know from a guy’s perspective

That’s the thing he makes an effort to keep in touch like we go back and forth everyday and it feels like a relationship atp but he doesn’t want that atm apparently and wants to kno what he wants in life because the way he treats me is literally like a lover

I'd say he prefers interacting with you in person, rather than on apps.
But I'd say that it's not that impossible for a guy to be bad with tech. He just doesn't value tech as much as he values his hobbies or his job. Maybe he doesn't have a phone that's that good.

He works at a supermarket for now and he’s a student but like not even to ask me how I’m doing he can’t be that bad with tech 😭🥹

And then not only that but when my friend told him to call me why did he ask her why? Like that like he know why she asked him to call me why he gotta be so rude about it just say he can’t use the app or something should I ignore him going forward

Because im in turkey atm I came for a surgery and he never text me or called me and my friend who works with us asked him to call me to check up on me I didn’t ask her to say that but all he said was “why”
