They're just cruel. I don't understand how or why anyone would treat you that way. A lot of really hateful people in the world. They suck.

I've said many times that people (women) can have night-and-day different experiences with GAG. I think a lot of it is "chance" and who you happen to interact with.
I've heard of a couple of women who have had experiences along the lines of yours. But I've talked to many others who have never had any bullshit beyond maybe someone being an asshole in a reply. The difference blows my mind. Maybe it's certain GAG topics that I don't see (for example, I specifically make a point to avoid politics on GAG).
I don't really know what to tell you so far as explanation goes. It sounds like you just found yourself in a pocket of assholes (which would be a great name for a pool-hall).
Sorry jerks are being jerks to you. Keep in mind it's really not personal, and they wouldn't have the balls to say any of it to your face. Try not to take them too seriously. 🙂
Is that you in your profile pic? You look cute. Those guys sound ridiculous. Sorry you’re going through that. Try not to let it get to you. Obviously they have their own unsorted issues and are trying to make them selves feel better by bringing you down.
It's an attempt to gain control. If you react to them, get emotional or make a post about their behavior, they see it as a win. You are spending your time thinking about them instead of blocking and reporting them like you should. Don't feed the troll.
Because frustrated losers make themselves happy by attacking strangers online.

It sounds super cheesy but "hurt people hurt people". I imagine that they've experienced similar behavior from other people and they take it out on undeserving people as "pay back".
To feel better about themselves I guess. Or, maybe they suffer from OCD and feel they always have to tell people exactly what's on their mind. But to be fair, I have seen some of your posts where you call YOURSELF ugly, so that could lead people to think that you won't be offended if someone else calls you "ugly".
It is sad that there are some who have such a low self opinion that the only way they can feel good about themselves is to attack others. Believe me you are losing nothing by blocking them.
In general, people treat others how they feel about themselves.
