My experience is that when a guy says to a girl he had fun it means he likes her but i think its kind of a cliche thing to say so if a guy said that to me i probably won't want to see them again.

No. It means he had fun and didn't ask tonight is all. Maybe he will or not, but he wouldn't have said he had a good time if he didn't.

If he said he had fun than maybe consider asking him out again. If he says no, he says no. That is scary but it will allow u to either keep it going with him or move on to another.
