we took a chorus trip to nyc, and my feet were bleeding and in excruciating pain from wearing uncomfortable shoes. one of my guy friends noticed me limping and offered to carry me twice. i insisted that i was fine, but he wouldn’t let it go. on the subway he put his hand on my shoulder when telling me to sit down and take off my shoes. he put his arm around me when we were walking back to the hotel, telling me everything was gonna be ok. he put his arm around my waist to guide me when it was crowded, and again when i was feeling lightheaded. when i was cold and forgot my gloves at the hotel, he held my hand until we got inside. is he just being nice or does this mean anything?
