Why would a guy suddenly start ignoring a girl after seeing she dresses up pretty one day?

I saw a similar question with not many answers. The same thing happened to me.

I had dressed up nice and had my hair all done and put a lot of makeup on, and my friends said I looked really good and nice that day, really pretty, and he definitely checked me out I caught him, after that he ignored me all day and avoided me, he ignored me right in front of my face and just wouldn't talk, he acted like I was invisible to him.

why did he check me out and then ignore me? why is he acting like this all of a sudden? just cause I looked pretty for one day?

I don't know anyone so I'm going off an assumption he's just a good guy. Most guys if they're already really "attached" to another girl romantically, ie talking, dating, the most amazing in his eyes, he won't put himself in a situation to be tempted by someone else...

You can be amazing and a 10, but if he's dead set on another girl, he won't let anyone even think he'd want to talk to you, even as friends. A guy would never risk losing the right girl for someone his main could be threatened by (even if it has nothing to do with you).

Yeah you’re right on bc he’s now in a happy relationship and I won’t lie… she seems to be the “whole package” to most men… she’s a model.. she’s modeled for brands and she seems to have a well rounded personality ect…

I can see why he chose her and didn’t want to two time her..

I just know that when he was flirting a bit with me they were not exclusive and I thought maybe he wasn’t sure about her… she posted him a lot on her page and tagged him in things … he didn’t.
