Why is Guy friend giving me the cold shoulder?

We’ve been friends for a few months and communicate almost everyday.

I have to say that I have felt as if he had feelings for me but he has never made some sort of move (in which I have to admit I would reciprocate). He’s done things such as listing after a girl or even ask a girl’s number in front of me, which is why on my part I have never said anything (+ the fact that he has an internship, so he’s leaving the city soon).

But now he has given me the cold shoulder, and it’s pretty apparent. His guy friends, in which I have gotten close but not as much as with him, are still acting as usual. However, at the end of the day he still talks to me (but through texts).

The last real convo we had before this, was that about boy-girl friendship and if he believes it exists (to have his opinion). Since that, it has been weird or maybe it’s from before that and I don’t know.

I want to know what is wrong, so that we can go back to what we once were before he leaves.

No guy is your “friend”.
If a guy is making time in his life for you , he wants to have sex with you.
If you have feelings for him, why can’t YOU make the move?
If is extremely entitled for a female to expect a man to make the first move, especially in this nee society where men are accused of sex crimes for simply showing a girl attention.
If another female has given him attention, he will change hos focus to her.

I have to say I agree. It does not have to be the man that does the first move. I just am not sure? Afraid of failure? Especially since he’s leaving soon, but that might be just an excuse on my part.

There is never going to be a negative consequence of a female, trying to put a move on a guy because even if he isn’t interested guys are not mean about a female actually having an interest in them because it’s rare
