So i was at this place yesterday and this guy gave me some help with something i chatted to him for a while then he left but later on we end up chatting again n im baring my soul about the guy I've been trying hard to move on from he does the usual thing there's other guys out there etc n i asked him for his name cos i tend to go to the same places so if i go again ill probably ask if he's in, he shook my hand and when asked to go into work he stays chatting a bit more. Like he's not even my type really but it got me thinking

At some point I think it's natural for a man to be of use to people around them. Men don't get validation any other way. Surely some more ways ofc, but Usually men need to earn everything before they get it and so being useful is deeply rooted into us. Most of us. Maybe even to girls and older people specifically, not in a simp way but more in general.
So yes, we can help out anyone. But when we like someone we might be a bit extra over the top concerned and serviceminded, because we want to.

Yes, there is plenty of people who are just nice people. Just because I do something nice doesn’t automatically mean I like someone.

I’m not a “simp” either….. smh but. Yes there is people I’m not necessarily attracted to who I do something nice for. Such as holding the door or really anything.

I try to be a nice person… so long as they deserve it.
