Why does he follows girls on Instagram?

We are in a relationship, super attracted to each other but he continues to follow other girls. I don't have problem with models/actresses/etc. It's the girls he could have access to. When I know he's a DM away. Girls in the same city. I told him how I feel about this and asked for his reason behind that but he got defensive, said he doesn't plan to talk or meet anyone but he will not accept being criticised about the fact that he likes to be able to watch. Why does he have such a need and why is it so hard to acknowledge my feelings on the topic?

In my personal opinion:
#1 It's your problem not his
#2 He lacks courtesy and that is a BIG red flag
#3 You two don't know what you're doing

• What would I do?
  If I were him: I'd never sexualize other girls in my mind.
  Why: Not only your thoughts but also what your senses take in controls your mind.

  Heart is another word for the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind does not know the difference between what's real and not real. It believes it. That's why u can watch a movie and get emotional as if it is real. To be clear, mind meaning inner activity, movement. Emotions is a great example.
• If I were you: I'd work on replacing the worry and doubt with positive affirmative thoughts. Lack of control over your mind will promote self sabotaging behavior.
  For the same reason I would not sexualize other girls.
  
  But more important than all of that I would create a conscious, joint vision for the relationship. All relationship problems come from not creating one or not remaining unwavering to such a vision.
