A man who I’ll call ‘John Mc Neill;’ not his real name added me to Facebook from a certain local town in Sydney. After adding him, I noticed that two guys I used to know were looking me up under fake surnames, similar to John Mc Neill, saying they were from the same town. They were definitely two men I used to know, both of whom I rejected. One of whom is my stalker, the other of whom stalked my friend. Is this a real person, or likely to be one of them, one of their mates, or some kind of sick joke? My gut tells me that something isn’t right.
Fake profiles so they can get into your Facebook contacts and try to befriend them. Maybe try to hack your social media accounts. Gleam enough information so as to be able to access money accounts. For instance your date of birth, your address, email address, children's names, maiden name, mother's maiden name, name of your pet dog, phone number.
I got hacked. I had sent naked pictures and masturbation videos to my then boyfriend which they tried to black mail me with for money. I figured they would release them anyway. The pics and videos are out on the Internet and they sent the videos to everyone on my account.
