Why's there no tomboy equivalent for men?

Hey everyone want your opinions but why is there no accepting equivalent of tomboy for men? Like being a tomboy is perfectly accepted for women but for men everyone just expects them to be masculine and not even a very feminine man?

I feel like we should call it Tomgirls. If this existed men would probably be happier and more easy going instead of their aggressive self usually.

There is- or rather, are. They're just seen as insanely negative, since it's seen as men "not doing their part" and trying to claim social privileges that society limits to women.

Logically, since each of us is a joint venture between a man and a woman, we should each have some combination of male and female traits (which we do); usually, one is far more pronounced, and most of the time, it's the gender we are, but absolutes are rare. Morally, society should be egalitarian enough that it doesn't matter, but we're not there yet.

Because a tomboy is a girl who like to play like a boy. A boy that play like a boy is a boy. I mean there is boys that play the full spectrum ie can play with dolls and have tea parties but never heard of any that only do that and give up boy toys so there isn't any boys that play like girls so no need for a name for it.

There is one. Tomgirl is another word for a girly guy, as you mentioned (and also probably more appropriate term).

Because men are masculine already or feminine (which is what effeminated means). Women can't be effeminate since they're already feminine or masculine (tomboy).

I feel I would count as a Tomgirl or whatever we’d call it. Some people on other sites in the past have even thought I was a girl. (I wasn’t my profile pic.) I hate the fear of getting mocked for it.
