Is he interested or am I a time killer?

Hello everyone,

I met a man in my country via online dating. He spent a while here because he worked here. It became a short, intense and very nice time. We had nice dates and great conversations and also kissed, nothing more. I told him that I think he is very great and wrote a (not too emotional) letter to say goodbye, I just wanted to give him something. We texted a lot when he was here, teased each other and wrote about all kinds of topics. Since he is back in his country, the contact has become weaker. But we also live in different time zones. He often sends me different pictures of his day and also asks me something. Recently I asked him if he would like to talk on the phone in the near future, because I would be happy to talk to him. Within a few seconds he wrote "of course". Then I told him that I also have a lot to tell him and he said that he can't wait to hear it. I failed to ask for an appointment, but I think that he can also suggest something if he feels like talking? I don't want to write him in a row if he hasn't answered again. He also hints more often that he is coming back to my city. We have also talked in general about activities that we would both like to do together sometime. I wonder if it means something that he is writing less now or if he just has more to do at home again? I really like him and don't want to and can't just forget about him.

You should speak to him to feel that ur feet are on a solid ground, be direct ask him directly where is this relation going

The other questions I would ask in the phone call. The problem is that I can't offer to visit him at the moment because of my work.

That's exactly my point. You don't know when you'll talk again; you are unable to see him for valid reasons.

So what is it you're even doing here? where is this going to go? The physical distance is the detriment, and it's completely irrational to close the distance. You don't even know each other.

That's tough to hear, but I think you're a little bit right. He met all the criteria I look for in a man and I have rarely felt connected to someone so quickly. I am a mixture of hopeless romantic and the potential I hold on to
