A guy friend who is single always caresses my cheek, strokes me hair, puts a hand on my back or touches me in some way when we meet. Sometimes he kisses my head or my forehead. Am I right thinking he wants to have sex with me or am I just reading something into it that isn't there?

A couple years ago he himself said we would 'just be friends', which is why I'm wondering. So please help me out here! I don't want to make a fool of myself in case I'm overthinking.

Nope you are right. He is conditioning you to his touch. I mean I do a lot of dating, so depending on the woman, yes you want to know if she is comfortable with you touching her before you go for that kiss. So, a settle touch here, or there... goes a long way in seeing where her comfort level is at.

As we walk back to the car, I might put my arm around her, or touch her back... I am seeing how she response to that... and that will determine if I go for the kiss after our hug goodbye.
