Why do guys ask to make plans and not make them happen? am I doing something wrong?

1. Guy asks out on date
2. I say yes, ask when they are free
3. They let me know when, I tell them I am free ______. Find an agreed day.
4. Guy initiates activity on that day.
5. I say “yes” sounds like a plan. Guy never gets back to me about the location and specific time.

Am I doing something wrong?

No I don't think you are. They seriously just ghost you and never contact you again? Like they don't even give you a reason that something came up? I have no clue why anyone would get that far as to agree on a day and then just nothing. I don't think there is anything that you are doing wrong unless you left something out of the details. Sounds like the guy just flaked for some unknown reason. I could understand if he said something came up and he had to reschedule but that isn't the way you make it sound.

He did seem he was busy with a school assignment based on his friends Instagram story— but it seems like he is also still shopping around for girls. Which makes me feel like I’m not good enough.

I can understand why you get that feeling. I would too. While being busy with school is totally valid he could at least say so and reschedule. If you really think he is shopping for other girls I would toss him to the side and find someone who deserves you.

Thanks, I met him on hinge by the way. We ended up having mutual friends. I guess I’ll be doing more shopping around for guys then?

Hey why not. If he can't be interested enough to at the very least reschedule and let you know what happened then I see no reason you can't be open to other people that are interested.

You’re not doing anything wrong as far as I can see but while you are talking to that person you should before the conversation ends, set a date and time and then be there that goes for the both of you
