You could snap him back, asking if he'll give you a call.
I feel like I’m dealing with a child haha like just call. I appreciate him remembering to snap but just weird
Calls take time and/or energy that he might not have. He doesn't feel like calling but he wanted to let you know he was thinking of you; that's not childish or weird at all; that's what being an adult looks like sometimes. He's honestly being pretty considerate. If you feel like calling that much you should make the call.
