Guy's Behavior

What would you do? How would you handle this?

So one of my tennis coaches... he's not the best coach, but I like going to the clinics where he teaches, and he is one of the coaches there. So he’s annoyed with me that I stopped taking lessons with him.


So… I tried to set up group lessons with him because at least it will be fun since it’s not instructional.


We both play Monopoly Go, and try to help each other out on the game.


I feel like he uses that to get closer to me to keep taking private lessons, but he’s not worth the money.


So I tried to help him get some other beginner people he could teach. I also set up the clinic for him, and when I bailed on his lesson I still paid him half.


At this last clinic, he came down on me really patronizingly in front of everyone, for something that didn’t need to be corrected. A couple of times.


And he only came down hard on me.. no one else. Several times that night.


So he asked me what was wrong, and I told him I felt he was patronizing towards me, and only me, and frankly I didn't appreciate it.


He said because he knows me better than the others, and I said not better than Arturo…


I would appreciate if he did that privately.


He said I was butt hurt and I have it ass backwards, and that he will run the clinic without me.


The clinic I set up for him!

I want to keep going to Saturday clinics, but he's been and acted resentful towards me in the past, and I just don't feel like going through it again since this time we actually disagreed.

I don't know how to handle the situation. What would you do?
