Is it wrong for a commited person to have pictures on social media?

So, we've been in a relationship for ten months. It's pretty serious. I'm not an avid social media user, nor is he. However, I post my artwork and pets on Instagram. For that, I have always had a profile picture. As most people know Instagram profile pictures are very tiny, so the idea that I shouldn't be doing it never came to my head. And my photo isn't anything obscene, it's just my face.

A few days ago while fighting he told me all of a sudden that he can never think of me as a worthy woman since I have a profile picture on Instagram to attract random men. This made me feel extremely humiliated. He also told me that it's a shame that I have still kept my own photo on Instagram after being in a relationship and it is making him question my commitment. For context, he has his own profile picture too.

It's my first relationship. Is he insecure or I'm ignorant?
