My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 1/2 year. He told me recently that a few months before we met he had tried to hook up with a friend/acquaintance that he liked in high school. He said he was desperate (he was still a virgin at almost 30) and though he had tried dating through apps, he had no luck. He said he wrote to her but she told him she had a boyfriend and that was that. A few months later him and I matched on Bumble.
I’ve had an issue with this girl because , 3 months to dating, we had gone to a mutual friend’s birthday and she saw us together. The next day, I saw she had written to him saying happy birthday (his bday was actually the next day). I saw he just wrote thank you and then later he personally told me responded and erased the message. Then he deleted her Instagram. But he didn’t delete her FB, and he said because he doesn’t really go on it and in case we were to break up he would have her as back up. But he said it was as back up , two months into our relationship. After then he said he just forgot about her FB
Am I in the wrong for feeling hurt about this? And for feeling like he still is interested in her? What’s your opinion?
