I attended a Muslim Pakistani wedding, usually in this and my culture girls hug and interact with girls and guys interact with guys.
But this is the first time in my life, where my husband’s good looking Guy friends when leaving the event actually hugged me in front of my husband. No guy (besides my cousins or brothers) have ever hugged me before at a Muslim wedding. Why is this?

Ohh!!! That's really weird. I mean that's more inappropriate than weird. I can not think of anything else but him taking an advantage of the situation. Else I don't see why would he do it.. even drinking is forbidden in Islam so he wouldn't be even drunk.
The fact that you referred to those hubby's friends as "good looking Guy friends" says a lot.
Anyways, Muslims are individual people. Of course they don't follow same rule book. Some men are shy, some are confident and some are arrogant. I have dated few Muslim guys and couldn't find any similarity between them.
They are his friends, but why did they hug me? Usually guys don't hug me
People change.
Did this wedding happen in Pakistan or somewhere else in the world? Maybe they were just super happy that another family member got married and had such great time together.
Often when muslim families live abroad they tend to adapt and pick on habits of people from foreign countries. Afterall it was just a hug. If you found it disrespectful tell your husband and maybe you or him can tell them not to do it again.
