I confessed to my crush about a week ago… and as you can guess by the title, I got rejected. He was very sweet about it. He told me that I’m a nice girl and that I’m easy to talk to, quiet, funny and chill and a bunch of nice things about me. I only confessed because I got the courage to tell my friend about it and she confirmed that he told her that he liked me back a month prior to me telling her. In fact, he told her that he liked me on her birthday and she was taken aback LMAO I’ve never confessed to anyone because I have social anxiety, but something in me told me that I should just confess and get it over with. He told me that as of right now, he doesn’t feel the same way that I do and what I can do is “wait it out or move on.” and I don’t understand what he meant by that… wait it out? He also mentioned something about “bad timing because he is busy studying” and I completely understand since he’s majoring in CE. I don’t know whether I should wait for him or move on. The way he worded his rejection really confuses me…

Rejection is rejection but you really took that rejection well, nice, by wait it out he means wait for him to feel the same way which may or may not happen, it's why moving on was also an option he mentioned.

I can't believe both of you are using go betweens at your age. That's just embarrassing.

What’s weird is he gave you false hope. Don’t wait for him. Just move on. If it turned out he liked you, he had a chance
He got over it before you expressed interest.
