LOL, most guys would be overjoyed to take a girl who's already graduated- makes him look more desirable.
I did this for a female friend of mine the year after I graduated because she couldn't find a date her parents would approve of.
Most of the time they're asking girls they go to school with though because they have access to them and the girls who have graduated have moved on with their lives.

A date is a date & a prom date is a prom date & as for me I went to a prom twice. I went to my prom & four years later a lovely lady asked me to prom.
What Guys Said
It would not make any difference to me. When I was 22 I dated somebody who ws 17 and a senior in high school. I figured that she would want me to take her to the prom. I would have done it except she dumped me a month or so before the prom.
I never went but it probably wouldn’t matter if I had someone older at the time go with me but I wasn’t really social or popular at the time and didn’t like school or most of the kids there
At that age, he might be considered a stud by his friends to bring an “older “ woman to the Prom!
Unless he wanted to sacrifice a virgin that night. Personally I would not care either way!My dad married a woman 1 year older than him and has been happily married 35+ years. She's 2/1/56, he's 2/25/57
1 year won't make a difference at all.
Who would know or care?I think it’s even sicker to take a woman older out of school to prom.
