Guys, have you ever dated someone who was completely out of your “type” category?

This has always been a thought of mine lol. I’ve talked/dated a few guys are when I look at their type based of previous relationships I look nothing like their exes their exes are usually slim ladies or flat tummy big butt type thing or just regular normal skin/thick women. I mean i even have a guy friend who straight up told me his type is skinny athletic and all that but I look nothing like that. I have gotten told a lot im a pretty girl I am chubby though but my face is very pretty, I always get complimented on my appearance but I always find it weird. My friend recently told me that I am his type and he would be down if I would be down lol and a lot of guys I’ve dated also obviously they found interest in me despite their usual type. I just find it weird does a pretty face make up for it? Not sure 😅I mean I never sleep with them but can’t tell if they’re just trying to test the waters with a chubbier girl.
