My guy friend doesn't want his friends "simping" over me?

He keeps me and his friends away from each other because he doesn't want them to become a "simp" for me. His terms. He also refers to my other guy friends as simps too when we are friends and they treat me like a bro. I consider us close friends because we know so much about each other and our temperaments, we can read each other well without verbal communication.

Im not sure why he is like this. I have met a few of his friends in the past and they do turn their attention towards me but I do not entertain the idea of romance with them. But I think my guy friend thinks there is always something up between me and those guys/my guy friends and there isn't.

Whats his deal?

We aren't a couple. Thats why I am confused because I have every right to be friends with anyone, he has not stated we are a couple, we are just friends, his words.

Well then that's different, if he won't claim you and give you a title then he doesn't get to ask these sorts of things, but you should also consider that this is what he expects from you if you want him to take you seriously.

I never knew actually. I have had my girl friends do it to me where they didn't want me making a move on a guy because they liked them. But he doesn't want me to talk to his friends because he doesn't trust me around them in case I flirt with them. But I dont.

Is this about him or his guy friends? I am someone who isn't TOO overly friendly with guys where they may read it as flirting, I keep the boundaries up. With him I am always comfortable with him, open and honest. I treat him like my guy friends anyway. But he gets funny this way. But I just take everything at face value and do not over read the situation.

Quite possibly! I got the blame for the guys becoming "simps" and he said I was a flirt and other stuff but I was being myself. Friendly without the romance, although I do think his friend saw it as a challenge but I was respecting the friendship between all of them. If I talk to other guys he also gets funny. I mentioned it one time and he said I can talk to whoever I want and gives me a cold shoulder after, even though I reassure him
