Looking for advice guys! What's your take on this?

Every time I see my guy friend he is very flirty with me. (To the point other people have asked) I have flirted back in response. We don't see each other very often as we are previous co-workers and both studying and working. However he doesn't reach out over text very often when we don't see each other but yet flirts like crazy with me when he does. I have tried to reach out via text to check in or make him laugh but he doesn't try to carry on the convo very long. What is this? When we worked together there were vibes and still are when we do actually see each other. We are both not long out of long term relationships but I have been away from all of this for so long I don't know what to make of it.

Every one is different. I am a big flirt. I do it because I want attention. Yes it’s true… I am an attention whore lol. Sometimes I do it just because it’s fun but most times because I’m testing the water… you say you flirt back, to me that’s reason enough to push it a bit farther. If he isn’t pushing farther it might be because he’s not ready, scared or just not interested. I think if you are interested you should make a move to see what he does. You are here asking for our opinions to me that means you are interested.
So next time you are together and flirting… kiss him. You can always claim it was just a friendly kiss.
