My ex and I have been separated for almost 2 years now. We share 2 children that we coparent together so we still see each other on a weekly basis. He recently got a new job and health insurance and asked for me to sign papers to keep me on his health insurance plan but I told him I'd rather just buy my own health insurance since him and I are separated and he was upset and told me I was being irresponsible with my money since that would be more expensive and insists I stay on his. Why is he wanting me to stay on his insurance so bad?

Maybe he’s looking after you in my opinion, after all you are the mother of his kids and even if y’all don’t love each other or are not together that doesn’t take away the importance that you are to his kids and he mentioned it being cheaper I say take it if he’s not being weird about it or it’s not going to use it to manipulate you.
Does he pay for the health insurance for your kids? If he is, then he is likely paying the family rate which includes you since you aren't legally divorced. Interesting how he is helping you out but instead of taking the win, you have to question and WHY WHY...🤦
He's a good guy for looking out for you. It's your choice but this guy is trying to make your life easier
