I’m confused by him, why did he say this?

I have a huge crush on a colleague. We flirt together and when we were both a little drunk, I told him that I liked him. I asked him if he felt the same way and he kept saying “you’re a lovely person”. Eventually, he did say that he did like me too.

He was hot and cold towards me at work initially, but he has got better. He interacts with me the same way he used to.

Im confused because a few times today I have said a few comments to him such as “you keep rolling your eyes at me” and “why are you so mean to me”.

His response was “it’s not just you, I do it to everyone”

I feel like if he interacts the same way with everyone else, he doesn’t treat me differently and I automatically think he doesn’t like me.
