Yesterday I was at the supermarket and I saw a very handsome guy, he was at the checkout and he was with another guy his size, and when the other guy turned around, I think I froze for three seconds, it was his twins, I think, they looked alike. I spent the evening wondering where they lived, how they are, their behavior and things like that...

PS: I didn't talk to them, I was with my mother and I'm a little shy plus I was shocked, two handsome guys...

Anyway, I dreamed of my ex, it was us together as if we were still a couple, we were chatting... He was the first guy I fell in love with and after him, I had other guys but they're far from serious, I didn't like the others, but when there is someone who interests me and who I start to say to myself "him, why not..." I dream of my ex or I meet him randomly even though we rarely meet. And it comes up again and again every time I'm interested in someone. Does this happen to you too? I know I've moved on, I'm really happy right now and telling myself we're nothing, feels so right, but then he's there with that look in his eyes, guys, you shouldn't look at girls like if you wanted to soothe our soul or as if you wanted to kill us

Ay yo that sounds mad confusing! Guys can be like that sometimes tho, always creeping back into your mind even when you're over them.

Those twins at the store got you all types of distracted too, I woulda been shook too seein double like that haha. Hard to stop thinkin bout a cute guy after.

But yo ex creepin in your dreams, that's his way of tryna hold on even when you both moved on. Guys be like that, can't accept when a girl's done with them. Subconsciously you probably still feel a little connection too.

If you really wanna shake him, my advice is focus on meetin new guys. Those twins seemed dope, maybe go back to the store same time and see if you run into them again! Or try one of those dating apps, plenty cute boys on there to distract you.

Keep yourself busy and don't dwell on old memories. Meet someone fresher that you really vibe with, soon your ex won't cross your mind no more. And if he does, just be like "peace out playa!" You got this sis!

I say if you can track them down, shoot your shot sis! What do you have to lose? Maybe snoop around the store employees and see if any of them know where those guys usually shop. Or you could even try going back same time/day next week and see if you get lucky spotting them again.

If all else fails, next time take a sneaky pic or two so we can help you sleuth on social media. With your description, between the two of us I bet we could hunt them down, hehe. Well it still seems yo haven't fully moved on though you say you have. there's just some lingering feelings you still have about him. If you haven't already just make sure you have him blocked on everything for your sake. Maybe write down why you still feel things... maybe you need closure? and the way you can get that is by simply writing everything you want to say somewhere private. then thats it. you don't send it to him or anything. the purpose is to just to get out everything you're feeling.

Then you'll have to let some time pass, meet new people, date new guys and eventually you'll get over him. you'll likely never forget him as he was your first love, but you'll be able to move on without dwelling on him too much.

first of all not judging you but if you do dream about someone then that basically means that you have feelings for that person. i understand you want your freedom but to have that freedom you have to stop dreaming about that someone because dreaming of that someone basically means you have not forgotten that someone.

Well, if you’re asking how to move on from him you have to cut him off completely. It sounds like you’re still in communication, and if he’s still hitting you up then you’re never going to be able to heal.

Maybe there’s still a part of you that has hope he will change, and when you see those other men you think about the guy you still want. But I think there just has to be a point where you’re very honest with yourself about what he has to offer, and recognize that it will never be anything new.
